There is always Melbourne Australia
Sorry, I can't offer any other places so I just wanted to say that I am so happy that your other half has put you and a vasculitis hospital at the top of the list.
Keep Smiling

Live your life in a way that you wouldn't be ashamed to sell the family parrot to the town gossip - WILL ROGERS
I travel from VA to Philadelphia PA to UPenn Hospital to see Dr Peter Merkel I feel he is a great doctor and vasculitis is his specialty. Best of luck in this decision
Dr Shrieh works with Dr Merkel at UPenn and is a good dr as well
There are some good vasculitis docs in the Seattle area, but I know someone who travels from there to Portland for her care at OHSU, because she really feels in good hands with the doctors there. And there is wine country in both Oregon and Washington. I think you would enjoy the climate in Oregon, especially the mid-to-southern part, and it would not be radically different from northern California. There are enough smaller cities that would likely have jobs in your field. Just off the top of my head, having not passed through Oregon for many years.

Nikki, even though I think Cleveland Clinic is great... I would not want to live there. I am sure you would have no problem finding a job, maybe even if it isn't for 911. The less stress the better,maybe look into a career change plus the cost of living in Cali. is probably a lot higher then anywhere else. Good luck with your search
Life isn't about how you survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain !
Have you considered living near Boston? Lots of top GPA docs here. I'm super new but am very impressed with my care so far.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
